The OECD will support education related post-2015 goals that retain a focus on access and equity at primary and secondary education levels, whilst incorporating a meaningful focus on learning. Listen to the expert Michael Ward on his work with PISA for development.

OECD Post-2015 - Effective development co-operation - an important enabler in a post-2015 global development framework
The OECD is committed to supporting the Global Partnership. In addition to its role in monitoring progress, the OECD is well placed to share its tools and knowledge in other areas of relevance to the Partnership – for example, work on tax and development, effective institutions, and tackling illicit financial flows.
Robin Ogilvy, an OECD staff member working on development assistance, explains the ideas behind this aspect of the OECD's post-2015 global development work.

OECD Post-2015 - Strengthening National Statistical Systems To Monitor Global Goals
The new development framework that will replace the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) after 2015 will require a “data revolution”. PARIS21 (the Partnership in Statistics for Development in the 21st Century) offers a ready-made structure on which to found such a global partnership and begin co-ordinating a participatory debate on the data and capacity needed worldwide to rise to the challenge of monitoring the post-2015 development framework.

OECD Post-2015 - Policy Coherence For Effective Development
With the OECD Strategy on Development, the organisation and its members have taken an important step forward on how to approach policy coherence for development in a rapidly changing and more complex global context. The OECD can make full use of its multidisciplinary expertise, evidence-based approaches to policy making, and peer learning working methods. This will contribute to better informed policies and provide decision makers with the necessary tools and instruments for achieving greater policy coherence for development in the post-2015 development agenda and framework. Listen to Ernesto Soria Morales describe PCD - policy coherence for development - and its potential impact on global food security.

OECD Post-2015 - Jean Touchette On Measuring & Monitoring External Development Finance
As the international community develops a new framework to replace the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) after 2015, a funding strategy will need to be put in place to support them. This will require a sustained global effort that maximises both public and private sources of finance.
The Development Assistant Committee (DAC) is already working to modernise its statistical system for monitoring and measuring external development finance and is working with the United Nations (UN) and the wider international community so that the revised system is well placed to support the attainment of post-2015 goals.

OECD Post-2015 - Overview paper on OECD Contributions to Post-2015 Reflections
This overview paper is the first in the series OECD Contributions to Post-2015 Reflections. It puts forward a possible global, holistic, measurable and meaningful framework to move development forward beyond the MDG 2015 deadline. It proposes a two-level approach – at the global level and nationally by individual countries. This evolving thinking represents the OECD’s commitment – reflected in its new Strategy on Development – to engage with member, emerging and developing countries; to share expertise and knowledge through mutual learning and respecting countries’ ownership of their own development; and to strive towards more coherent approaches to development. It also reflects the OECD’s diverse expertise, experience and various comparative advantages.

OECD Post-2015 - Geraldine Ang on universal access to sustainable energy
Universal access to sustainable energy is essential to support the post-2015 agenda. Achieving universal energy access is essential to the post-2015 goals framework that will replace the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). Access to energy is central to human well-being and a key factor in poverty reduction. Although energy was not explicitly featured in the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), there has been a growing recognition that access to sustainable and reliable energy is critical to achieving them: improving women’s and children’s health, broadening the reach of education, allowing households to cook and heat their homes, and enhancing agricultural development and food security. As the United Nations (UN) Secretary-General has said, “Universal energy access is a key priority on the global development agenda. It is a foundation for all the Millennium Development Goals” (UN, 2010).
